The BEST THERAPY has fur and four legs...

MAKING your pet (especially our nervous visitors) happy to come to the vet is our top priority…so they want to come in and see us. We have a fenced-off quiet area at the rear of the clinic where we can do outside consults. There’s a separate quiet waiting area for nervous pups and for our feline friends (away from sniffs and barks) and what we’re famous for, our floor consults - where Dr John gets down to your pet’s level to make sure they feel right at home (and the perfect height for puppy kisses).
What began back in 2011, with just Dr John and two nurses, has now turned into a fully-serviced vet clinic, working day in and day out to make sure we’re giving our fur friendies the best care not just in our little village of Paradise Point, but surrounding suburbs (some even come as far as Brisbane). We don’t work on getting our patients in and out. Instead, we take the necessary time with you and your pets to understand your needs and give you the best care and advice we can. Most importantly, the health and well-being of your pet is the most important thing in our clinic…always.

We’re no ordinary practice

Consults

With four good-sized consult rooms, we’ve got space to let your fur friend feel at ease…as well as a dedicated acupuncture room where Dr John can administer alternative therapies to assist in the healing and treatment of your pet. If you have a nervous dog who prefers not to be around others, we can do our consults outside in the fenced off area to the rear of the clinic.

Nurse Consults

Don’t like clipping your dog’s nails…? You are able to drop your pet in with our nurses (you will need to pre-book these appointments) where our super team can perform nail clips, anal gland expression (basic) and some subcutaneous (arthritis) injections as well as post-operative checks after surgeries.

Surgery

Our clinic is a purpose-built vet surgery with every up-to-the-minute aspect of medicine and surgical equipment necessary to provide your pet with the best possible care. We perform everything from routine desexings to more complex abdominal and orthopaedic surgeries.

GRIEF. Loss. Goodbye. It’s the single hardest part of owning a pet. A friend who’s been at your side, in your face for anything from ten to sometimes as long as twenty whole years. An unflinching support. An ability to know when you need that cuddle, or simply another living soul just to break the solitude. It’s the hardest part of our job…telling owners when it’s time but we get how difficult this is and try to make it as gentle as possible, giving you time to say goodbye. We will guide you through the process and allow you the time you need. We have many options to consider:

Would you prefer to be in clinic or at home? Do you want your family present? Would you like to be there when your pet crosses over? Would you like to choose a home burial or private cremation - to have your pet with you forever? We use Pet’s Eternal https://www.petseternalpeace.com.au who will give your fur friendie a most gentle and dignified farewell.
